| For dental applications, our production ranges from FG burs to plaster trimmer wheels. We manufacture our FG diamonds in varying grit sizes between 504 and 554 (acc. to ISO standards), with choice of one of two types of grit: natural and/or synthetic (S) diamond (limited to ISO 524 and certain types). |

The natural diamond crystals typically have an irregular shape and sharp cutting edges which ensure a quick material removal. Layers containing the blocktype, synthetic diamond crystals provide a professional preparation with less surface roughness. Those FG diamonds have a black coating to increase the optical contrast between layer and tooth. Only hardened, stainless chromium/nickel steels are used as basic material for the fis diamond tools (except a few cutting discs). The tolerances of the shaft diameters not only meet the requirements of the ISO standard, but exceed them. With quality in mind, we grind the shafts to close tolerances for precise fit in the handpiece chuck which minimizes runout error and protects the chuck. In addition, we have introduced a new generation of diamonds (HighQPlus). These multilayer FG tools provide long life in rough cutting applications. > For printing |
